WHERE IS MY REFUND?

You can obtain information about your refund 72 hours after the IRS confirms receipt of an electronic filing, or 3 to 4 weeks after receipt of a paper filing. What information is not available on the "Where's My Refund?" application? Information from an amended return (Form 1040X) is not available on the "Where's My Refund?" application. Amended/corrected returns may take 8 to 12 weeks or longer to process. If you have filed an amended return at least 8 weeks ago and have not received your refund, please contact the IRS customer service representative at 1-800-829-1040. For international calls, please dial 1-267-941-1000. For TTY/TDD equipment, call 800-829-4059.  In addition, you may check the status of your refund below
